Sea Turtle 24″ Pillow

24″ pillow with side zipper is created with pieces of deep turquoise batik  raw edge appliquéd and free motion quilted to a bright green background material.  It is finished with bright blue soft and minky fabric on the back.  Pillow covering can be removed for washing (in cold and medium dryer heat) to keep it clean.

Batik cotton materials are known for their vibrant colors and I use them exclusively in my quilting artwork.   I decided to use soft and minky fabric for the backing material because it is so cozy and is comfortable to lay on.  This pillow will look great around your home on the couch or bed.
